7^th anniversary
September 2011 marks Solly Saids Karate Kickboxing and Gyms 7^th anniversary

Hanshi would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members and their families, our friends and patrons for there continued support and loyalty through these seven years of challenges and remarkable growth!

Much has happened in these seven years and our karate style has evolved into one of the most eclectic systems in the world. It is a new genre in martial arts.

Igniting your spirit
We trust that all our Muslim members have had a blessed Ramadan and joyous eids! We trust all our members will be resuming their training and igniting their spirits.

Four more months remaining of the year and so much has happened and so much is yet to be done just remembering hanshis kagami baraki message of refreshing reviving re-inventing and rebranding imsure we are all impressed with the outcome which is stunning but this is just the beginning let us allpoolour energies together and take our organisation to its next stage

Saids karate and gym under the spotlight
We began the year with a bang when eastern mosaic did coverage on our kagami baraki we also had a special guest attend the proceedings and trained with our hanshi internationally celebrated plastic surgeon dr Robert rey

The dojo wasbuzzingwith people and the programwentonfor hours with he dr signing autographs and encouraging people to train and keep fit to arrest ageing which is his speciality!

Hanshi was also interviewed on spirit sundae a program broadcasted on national television

We also had the Nigerian national delta state karate and judoka team who flew down to south Africa to undergo aspecialtrainingprogram under Hanshi.

Saids karate and gym was also a finalist in the 702 sba awards competition 2011

Hanshi also received a special award from Kyoshi sonny Pillay of Durban when we attended the south african shotokan karates international annual tournament. congratulations to four of our students who brought home silver and bronze medals well done

Facelift
Our dojo as well as our logo has received an amazing facelift that you have to see to believe! additional shower facilities have also been added to our newly designed modern change room facilities

Saids karate and gym apparel
We have a new range of exciting gear and stylish apparel for both men and women that will hit our shelves soon!

This will include tracksuits, kitbags, headbands, gym equipment, wraps, leather gloves, kidney belts, t shirts gum guards and much much more

In house tournament
Proposed date for our next in house tournament is the 23^rd October 2011 please register your participation at the front desk

Karate kids
Our karate kids division has taken off with a boom and have produced outstanding results contact us if you would like a private demo at your school
